|
Borland Kylix is an integrated developed environment IDE and compiler for creating Linux applications in Delphi, the language they own and control. Borland Kylix brings all key features of Delphi to the Linux operating system, especially databases. You can also use Borland Kylix to create cross-platform applications for both Windows and Linux. You create one program, then compile it for Windows, then compile it for Linux. Borland Kylix uses CLX, a visual programming library that is object orientedIt has visual controls based on QT. It uses the Object Pascal library. dbExpress architecture is for accessing databases that use SQL. Libc is a shared object containing all core functions of the C library. It has containers for low level functioning. It also has Delphi Web Broker for creating web applications to run on an Apache server. The Tools API of Borland Kylix is a set of tools to extend the IDE. |
