Macromedia Freehand for Not Yet Techies"Computer Careers: Working With This Program for Animating Artwork"by Richard Stooker, President Info Ring Press and author of Secrets of Changing to a Computer Career |
|
Macromedia Freehand is a graphics, vector drawing program that uses Flash to animate artwork. It has roughly the same functions as Adobe Illustrator. If you are using other Macromedia Suite products such as Flash for your web site, it makes sense to use Macromedia Freehand for your graphics program, since it integrates well with the entire Suite. Macromedia Freehand creates images through paths, which are points joined by segmentsPath operations change the shape of the drawing. The program comes with Xtra Operations and Xtra Tools to create a wide variety of images. It contains a wide variety of special effects you can apply to your images such as enveloping, perspective and power duplicating. Macromedia Freehand can meet the needs of artists and webmasters who create images for web sites. Next: Quark XPress |
